The brief
A formal dining room needed a strong ceiling feature without making the room feel low.
What we did
The ceiling recess lifts the centre of the room, and the leaf light hangs inside it. Timber on one wall and a pale mural on the other keep the room in balance.
Up close
The result
A dining room with one clear centrepiece, directly over the table.

Same mood in another colour
